PP&R keeps a list of every repair and replacement it has recorded but not yet funded, and scores most of them. This is that list: all 1,814 open items, with the bureau's own scores, unchanged, for the 1,521 that carry one, and 293 flagged as unscored.

Before you read the map

Four things to know.

Whose priority is this?: PP&R's. The bureau rates how likely each asset is to fail and how bad that would be, 1 to 5 each, then multiplies by an equity index of 1 to 5 for the neighborhood. The Atlas shows that score and changes nothing.
Does a high score mean it will be fixed?: No. The score ranks need. The bureau's funded list is separate and is not published item by item, and no cost is published per item.
What does the ring mean?: In January 2025 the bureau named the assets at highest risk of closing. 60 of those sites have open items here, 128 items in all.
Why isn't my park on the map?: It has no open items in this extract, or its items are systemwide entries with no site. Items marked growth add capacity rather than repair something; you can hide them.

Sources, definitions & downloads

Scores, sources, growth labels and equity, housing and variety scores are PP&R's fields in its public backlog map workbook, extract dated 2026-10-12, downloaded 2026-10-13. In this extract 1,505 of 1,521 scored items divide evenly by their equity score, and the quotients are products of two numbers from 1 to 5, consistent with the stated formula; the scales and weights are not published. Housing and Variety scores have no public definition. 941 items have an unambiguous match to a November 2023 estimate row, totaling $506.2M; those are 2023 proposals.
