Oregon Wildlife Foundation

Statewide foundation that partners with PP&R on projects that improve or conserve habitat for Oregon's native wildlife, such as the Newton Wetland restoration in Forest Park; the species a project affects are among the first things it looks at. It is the fiscal sponsor of the West Willamette Restoration Partnership, which includes PP&R and recently received a Metro Nature in Neighborhoods grant for work in Marquam Nature Park, and of three volunteer projects: Friends of Baltimore Woods, Friends of Fanno Creek Headwaters (focused on the SW 25th Avenue Trail) and UWIN PDX, which monitors wildlife with trail cameras, including in PP&R natural areas.
