West Willamette Watershed Council contributes volunteer hours, maintenance, programming and 1 linked park.
Formerly the Tryon Creek Watershed Council: the Southwest Portland watershed council is becoming the West Willamette Watershed Council (W3) and taking on a larger area. It has surveyed Marshall Park's stretch of Tryon Creek for its rapid bioassessment of watershed health; the deep pools there make it a preferred stretch for a healthy coastal cutthroat trout population. It also leads small habitat restoration projects, coordinated with PP&R, with youth workforce development programs, and joins neighborhood work parties in the park.
