Park history

The building is an historic firehouse built in 1928. PP&R assumed ownership of the firehouse in 1958 and converted it into a community center. When the center was threatened with closure in 2003 as a result of City budget shortfalls, a group of dedicated community volunteers formed the Friends of the Woodstock Community Center (FWCC) to raise funds, and to recruit and coordinate volunteers who contribute thousands of hours each year helping with landscape maintenance, building upkeep, classes, and community events.

All dogs must be leashed in this park.

Condition is rated 1 (good) to 5 (very bad); blank means not yet assessed and is excluded. Park trees are inventoried separately and not counted here. No repair costs — those aren't published.

Repair ledger

Assessment dates are copied from the public Parks Amenities layer. Old dates mean this source does not publish a newer assessment for that asset, not that we have confirmed no newer internal inspection exists. PP&R does not publish itemized repair costs, so this ledger shows needs without dollar figures.

Public data does not currently flag repair candidates for this park. Additional PP&R maintenance exports can be added without changing the page structure.

The public asset layer includes `PictureID` and `Hyper_pic`, but those values point to PP&R internal file-share paths, not public image URLs. Asset-level inspection photos need a PP&R export or public ArcGIS attachments before this app can render them.
